Mahmoud Benamar was born in 1987 in Algeria, once graduated from the Beaux-Arts school of Algeria, he joined a communication company.
His passion for video games and cinema fed his imagination and provided him with the inspiration that drives his work today.
In 2011, he participated in the collective album Monstres (Ed Dalimen) and in 2012 published “Broderies pour un holdup” (Ed. Dalimen). In 2013, he signed with Safia and Soumeya Ouarezki, “Les souvenirs de Fatma”, an album retracing the love story between an Algerian girl from the Casbah and an American soldier at the end of the Second World War.
From this short story, will be born the sublime Fatma N’Parapluie, who won the prize for the best album in national language at FIBDA in 2014.
Currently, he works for Nuked Cockroach Studios as an artist and designer of the Veterans video game.
